Anirudh Suri is a venture capitalist, technology entrepreneur and policy advisor. His interests lie at the intersection of climate, technology and geopolitics, and he is committed to help India and Indian startups to cement their space in the global tech ecosystem.
He is currently the Managing Partner at India Internet Fund, a technology-focused venture capital fund based in India and the U.S. Previously, he has worked with the Government of India in Delhi, McKinsey and Company in New York, the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace in Washington DC, and Goldman Sachs in London.
He is the author of The Great Tech Game (HarperCollins, 2022). He has written extensively on foreign policy, geo-politics, national security, technology and entrepreneurship in publications such as the Indian Express, The Seminar, Hindustan Times, Foreign Policy, The New Republic, and Asia Times. He also served as the Founding Editor for the Carnegie Endowment’s journal on South Asia, South Asian Perspectives.
He completed his MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and his MPA from the Harvard Kennedy School. He has served as a Director on the Board of the Harvard Alumni Association and was named a Goldman Sachs Global Leader.
Anirudh has spoken at various forums, including literature and art festivals such as the Jaipur Literature Festival, Tata Lit Live! Mumbai International Festival, Bangalore Literature Festival, Vidarbha Literature Festival, and the Bhopal Literature & Art Festival; major conferences such as the Raisina Dialogue, the Carnegie Global Technology Summit, the Pravasi Bharatiya Divas, India Energy Week, the Ananta Aspen India – US Dialogue Summit; and various events hosted by think-tanks, universities, research and international centers, and governments around the world.
